Sage : Sage shares a profound connection to both music and art. Music has been a lifelong focus for her, and from this foundation, she explored various art forms, including painting and drawing. Her unwavering dedication to music and art serves as a driving force behind the Met GAYla event. Sage’s commitment to providing artists with a platform to express themselves and achieve recognition is a testament to her deep love for creativity.

Taylor : Taylor, Sage’s partner, a manager at JR.’s, has witnessed the struggles of her creative coworkers who, while pursuing their artistic dreams, often find themselves working in the service industry to make ends meet. Taylor understands that success as an artist often hinges on connecting with the right people. Her motivation to support her coworkers and local artists led to the inception of the Met GAYla. Taylor’s vision for the event is to bring together creatives and individuals who can help propel their careers to new heights.

Together, Taylor and Sage are determined to create an event that transcends conventional boundaries. They seek to unite fashion designers, musicians, dancers, painters, sculptors, and artists of all kinds, offering them a unique opportunity to promote their work. Beyond their creative pursuits, both Taylor and Sage are committed to supporting the LGBTQ community, with Sage serving as a board member for Pride in Dallas.
